History of walking: Why Walking is Important for us?
The process of walking starts with the brain sending a signal to the spinal cord which sends it to the motor neurons in the spine that control muscles in your legs, thighs, and feet. The signal travels through your nervous system to tell your muscles when and how hard they should contract so that you can move forward one step at a time Humans are the only creatures that walk on two feet. This is because we have a unique evolutionary history. For example, our ancestors used to live in trees, and then they started walking on all fours.
